E. A. Fricke Field is the main ball park in Papillion Nebraska. Papillion is the county seat of Sarpy County. It has a population around 25,000 and is located close to Omaha. Behind home plate is a large structure with stands and a press box. Papillion was recently named the third best place to live by Money Magazine. Great economic performance, moderate housing costs, low cost of living, great public spaces and parks, good entertainment venues all combine to make Papillion a great place to live. Good lighting and a prominent American flag makes this an inviting place to watch a game.  As of 2024, the playing surface is field turf. The field is just one of many in Halleck Park. Papillion-LaVista High School and American Legion teams are consistently good.
